TN-008A is a halogen-free environment-friendly flame retardant applied in EPDM. Its appearance is gray powder. This product does not contain halogen, heavy metals, environmental protection and non-toxic. It fully complies with the European Union’s ROHS environmental protection directive. At the same time, it has the characteristics of low addition and high flame retardant efficiency. This product has excellent compatibility with rubber, has little impact on the mechanical properties of the matrix, is insoluble in water, does not precipitate in rubber, does not “frost”, and does not corrode equipment. The product is mainly used for flame retardant EPDM. According to different application systems, the addition amount is different. Generally, the recommended addition amount is 18%, which can meet the UL-94 V0 (3mm) flame retardant requirements.
